Bohemian Spartacus

Bohemian Spartacus is a spectacular dinnerplate dahlia that originated as a natural mutation of the classic Spartacus variety. Its enormous, velvety burgundy-red blooms feature unpredictable streaks and splashes of golden yellow, making every flower a little different. Some blooms have dramatic yellow markings, while others may be almost entirely deep red. The long, twisting petals give these massive flowers a wonderfully dramatic appearance. With blooms reaching 10 inches or more, Bohemian Spartacus is a true showstopper in the garden! This is one of my all time favorite dahlias. The plant gets tall but the blooms are amazing!
